Engineering & Invention
Build mechanisms, structures, machines, and original inventions while learning how things work.
A hands-on STEM Education & Community Innovation Center is being developed for local families.
Imagine a place where children and teens can come every week to explore engineering, robotics, coding, science, design, invention, and ambitious projects alongside other curious students.
Join the free Founding Family Interest List and tell us what your family would most love to see.
Most STEM programs teach a particular activity. The vision for this center is broader: to create a place where children and teens can explore, build, experiment, collaborate, and pursue increasingly ambitious ideas over time.
Students might build robots, design machines, investigate physics, learn to code, test inventions, solve engineering challenges, or work with mentors on projects of their own.
The goal is not simply to teach STEM subjects. It is to cultivate curiosity, capability, creativity, and confidence.
Initial programs are still being shaped. Founding Family feedback will help determine which experiences launch first.
Build mechanisms, structures, machines, and original inventions while learning how things work.
Use technology, programming, sensors, and robotics to make ideas move, respond, and come alive.
Investigate the physical world through demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and real scientific questions.
Prototype, build, test, redesign, and create using a growing range of tools and materials.
Meaningful daytime STEM opportunities for homeschool students and families.
A place for older students to pursue deeper technical, creative, and interdisciplinary work.
The longer-term vision extends beyond children's classes. The center could also host daytime adult “How It Works” workshops, professional and technology programs, and evening or weekend community talks featuring guest lecturers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, demonstrations, and special presentations.
Tell us the ages of your children and the experiences your family would be excited about. Your feedback will help us determine which programs to develop first as the center takes shape.
